The Clinic

Riverview Clinics was started in 2000 by Michael Mew initially in Gravesend and expanded in 2004 to include a clinic in Gillingham.

A range of treatments are offered in friendly, relaxed and comfortable surroundings.

Both clinics are within easy reach of the A2/M2, M20, M25 and serve North Kent and the Medways Towns. Each is easily accessible and has ample parking facilities.

Michael graduated from the British College of Osteopathic & Naturopathic Medicine (BCNO) with a BSc (Honours) in Osteopathic Medicine, and as part of the regime of the time, a Diploma of Osteopathy (DO) and Diploma of Naturopathy (DN). Subsequently he obtained a post graduate qualification in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Beijing (DCHA).

He is registered with all 3 professional bodies - the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the General Council and Register of Naturopaths and the Chinese Medical Institute and Register (CMIR). He is also a member of British Osteopathic Association (BOA) and Business Network International (BNI).

Michael initially had a technical education and worked in electromechanical engineering and computing and he integrates the strong diagnostic ability learnt in engineering and applies these to the field of complementary medicine.

After qualifying he worked across the South of England as a locum and assistant expanding his experience and knowledge before forming Riverview Clinics.

Michael has treated a wide range of people from Royalty in the UK and abroad plus public figures and sportsmen & women, many of whom are household names.
